"It really bothers me that people are so offended by breasts...that's when I realized how f*cked our culture is."
Emily Ratajkowski has made it known time and again she has no qualms baring her boobs—on Instagram, in Robin Thicke music videos, in David Fincher movies or inside magazines.
Still, there is something about breasts that can get the great EmRata down—how people often react so negatively to them.
"It really bothers me that people are so offended by breasts," the outspoken supermodel/actress/Instagram sensation told Allure for her August cover story shot by photographer Daniel Jackson.
"That's when I realized how fucked our culture is," she added. "When we see breasts, we don't think of beauty and femininity. We think of vulgar, oversexualized images."
Her comments harken back to her 2015 Maxim interview, when she sounded off on how damaging these oversexualized images are for young women coming into their own.
"What a wonderful thing to be a beautiful, sexual woman," she told us. "How terrible that young women in our culture have to look towards pornography or over-sexualized versions of themselves to understand how to embrace their beauty."
